I am a student at the University of Arizona pursuing my Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering. My research emphasis is in Embedded Systems. I am currently looking into optimizing image processing algorithms for FPGA-based Visual Sensor Networks(VSN). My intent is to reduce power consumption significantly so a VSN comprised of battery-powered camera nodes can operate for extended periods of time.

My research interests are in the area of embedded systems and software development. Currently, I am working on the dynamic profiling and optimization for sensor networks. We aim to capture the application level behavior and external stimuli by profiling the network and using this profiling information to dynamically optimize the network parameters to improve the high-level metrics such as lifetime, reliability and throughput.
