One about my research
HW/SW co-design has been shown to improve both power and performance for a number of applications. Can FPGAs similarly be utilized in Wireless sensor platforms to enhance performance, while maintaining low power consumption, low cost and complexity?
Our research is currently investigating how to “best” utilize HW/SW co-design for WSN applications. Specifically, what is the cost of integrating a FPGA co-processor? Are there any energy saving by utilizing a HW co-processor in sensor network applications? How can a designer identify regions of code that are suitable for the co-processor?
All about me
In the year of 2008, I received my bachlor degree of Communication Engineering in Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China. Now, I am pursuing my MS degree in ECE department, University of Arizona. My interests are HW/SW codesign in Embedded System, FPGAs and Wireless Sensor Networks.
