I am a PhD student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Arizona. I am working as a research assistant under the supervision of Prof. Marwan Krunz. I joined the advanced networking lab at the university of Arizona in January 2012. I have received my B.Sc from the Electrical Engineering Department at Alexandria University, Egypt in 2009 and my M.Sc from the Wireless Intelligent Networks Center (WINC) at Nile University, Egypt in 2011. During my masters, I was working as a research assistant at Nile University.

News

Research

I am working on incorporating self-interference suppression techniques and full-duplex capabilities in wireless networks, especially dynamic spectrum access networks and macro/femto cells to enhance their performance. This includes, for example, optimal resource allocation, protocol design, and optimal access strategies. I am also implementing my work on National Instruments USRPs-2921 using LabVIEW.
