Magnetic Storage Simulators (System simulators developed as
part of this project) ∙
HAMR simulator (.zip) [.c] program for simulating uncoded
heat-assisted magnetic recording system including FIR equalizer and
Viterbi/BCJR detector). This program is also capable of simulating
traditional longitudinal/perpendicular channel. ∙
Ternary MR simulator (.zip) [.c] program for simulating ternary
magnetic recording system. Program details are contained in the file
README.txt. Utilities (Small programs or tools commonly used in this project) calculate minimum distance
error events for a ternary recording system ∙
MIMO equalization (.zip)
[.m] Matlab routine to calculate
GPR targets and FIR equalizers for a 2-input/2-output channel with
interference (ternary channel). ∙
