The Ubiquitous and Embedded Computing Lab is located in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Arizona.

The UECS Lab looks at various facets of embedded systems design, with emphasis on low-power design, efficient architectures, application-specific customization, and design automation. Additionally, our world is continously being integrated with more and more techonlogy. The UECS Lab looks at how to improve interfaces with various technologies, as well as facilitating the design and usage of these technologies by by non-engineers, such as scientists, agriculturalists, military personnel, students, aging persons, etc.
