Shirzad Hosseinverdi

I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Arizona. I am part of the Computational Fluid Dynamics Laboratory working with Professor Hermann F. Fasel. My research is at the intersection of fluid dynamics and computation consisting of vortex dominated flows, flow separation, active flow control, laminar-turbulent transition, immersed boundary methods, high-order numerical methods, and high-performance computing.  Read more ...
