I am currently a senior research specialist and a member of Advanced Networking Lab working under supervision of Dr. Marwan Krunz in the University of Arizona, Tucson. I have received my P.hD. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Arizona in 2016. Before joining the University of Arizona, I received my M.Sc. in computer netwokors and B.Sc. in information technology engineering from Amirkabir University of Technologyand Sharif University of Technology, respectively.

The area of my main interest is wireless networking and communications, with emphasis on PHY-layer security, OFDM, 802.11 systems, directional communications, and MAC design.

July 1, 2016: Our paper "Rolling Preambles: Mitigating Stealthy FO Estimation Attacks in OFDM-based 802.11 Systems" is now accepted in IEEE CNS conference.

May 18, 2016: Our paper "Full Frame Encryption and Modulation Obfuscation Using Channel-independent Preamble Identifier" is now accepted for publication in IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics & Security (TIFS).

December 18, 2015: I succesfully defended my PhD dissertation titled "Obfuscation of Transmission Fingerprints for Secure Wireless Communications".

July 2, 2015: Our secure routing paper "Supporting PHY-layer security in multi-link wireless networks using friendly jamming" is now accepted in IEEE GLOBECOM conference.

June 29, 2015: Our jamming attack paper "Swift jamming attack on frequency offset estimation: The Achilles' Heel of OFDM systems" is now accepted for publication in IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing (TMC).

April 25, 2015: Our tutorial-styple paper "Secrecy beyond encryption: Obfuscating transmission signatures in wireless communications" is now accepted for publication in IEEE Communications Magazine.
