Welcome

In the Laboratory for Sensor and Array Processing (LSAP), we develop algorithms, evaluate new measurement architectures, and perform performance analysis for systems involving sensors and sensor arrays. Most of our work is focused on the radio-frequency (RF) region of the electromagnetic spectrum, including applications such as space-time adaptive processing (STAP) for radar, multistatic SAR imaging and moving target detection, waveform design for radar, and RF direction finding.

Students working in LSAP are expected to have or to gain knowledge in topics such as random variables and processes, electromagnetics and antennas, digital signal processing, radar and array signal processing, and adaptive and statistical signal processing.

The Laboratory for Sensor and Array Processing is directed by Nathan A. Goodman, Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Arizona.
