The Atmospheric Remote Sensing Laboratory (ARSL) is located in the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) building at the University of Arizona. The groups main interests are in electromagnetic sensing of the environment, atmospheric radiation and optics, and optoelectronic instrumentation.

The ARSL is directed by Dr. John Reagan. The group is responible for design, development and testing of various remote sensing devices and data analysis methods. Currently the groups main focus is on eye-safe lidar (laser radar) instruments, for groundbased.airborne and spaceborne applications.
